Isle I Do: Working out for the Wedding

Working out for the Wedding
Strengthen your bond as future husband and wife
Working out together is a great activity for engaged couples to do before the wedding. Not only does it build confidence and stamina but it will also strengthen your bond as future husband and wife. Now I'm not suggesting you do every single workout together because while men will want to bulk up with rippling muscles, women will want to remain lean, toned and shapely. That being said there is still no reason why you can't enjoy a great workout together that is perfect for both men and women.
Cardio vs Weight training
All exercises fall into two groups; cardio and weight training. Cardio is basically any high energy, heart pumping exercise (running, skipping etc). Weight training is any exercise that incorporates weights (bench-press, shoulder press, etc).
The main purpose of cardio is to burn fat and weight training builds muscle. You need to do both in order to get the hard body results that you long for and you really shouldn't substitute one for the other. A misconception made popular by the several abdominal exercising machines is that working on the abs will burn all the fat around the stomach and obliques. This is untrue because although using the "ab-whatever" will make your abdominals stronger and improve your posture, it will not burn off all the excess fat in a three-minute workout. You need to do cardio for that.
Finding the Right Program
There are so many different workout programs from so many so-called fitness experts that you can break a sweat trying to find the right one for you. But before you rush out to buy the treadmill that you will hardly use or the fitness DVD you will never watch you have to know how these things can help you achieve your body shaping goal. Fortunately the internet provides a great deal fitness information right at your fingertips. Read up on all the workout programs and equipment before you purchase them. Check out the customer satisfaction reviews from non-biased websites so that you will not waste your money and time on something that is not right for you.
The Professional Gym vs The Home Gym
Both these gyms are great and they can both deliver exceptional results. The main difference between them is that in a professional gym, you have access to a lot of equipment and a personal trainer who can give you several training tips and techniques while working out. In a home gym you have the opportunity to workout anytime you feel like but they can be expensive to set up. Either way as long as you have the discipline and dedication it doesn't matter where you work out.
